A new chapter, a new chapter! *bounces happily*
Things I love about this chapter: Oz! This includes the Oz and Xander friendship and Oz being recognized by Dumbledore for helping defeat Voldemort. Go Oz!) Xander worrying about the house elf. Awwwww! The constant but not intrusive miscommunication (Hogsmeade = pig thing). And finally, Spike's irritation about being left with the adults. He's got such an air of immaturity (I'm going with the theory that his repressed youth and abandonment by his mother left him with a drive to be irresponsible, partly to appear less weak than he did as a human, and partly as a test for his compnaions, to see if they will value him even though he doesn't play by the rules. Angel failed the test.)

Author's Response: It was a fun chapter to write. I felt Xander would be concerned after the misunderstanding was cleared up, especially not understanding the whole voluntary servitude thing.
